About Core Sports Academy
Core Sports Academy is a newly formed academy that started in September 2014 and within that short period of time they have formed a link and are now proudly supported by Brentford FC and have a rapidly growing reputation for producing young players of an extremely high standard by sticking to our Philosophy. Our aim is to provide young talented footballers from u6’s-u12’s access to the high quality facilities and high quality coaching, through this we feel that we are giving them the best platform to progress through their development and break into professional Academy structures. We do not prevent players playing for their weekend team as we are extra training that acts as the BRIDGE in the gap between grass roots and Professional Academy football.
Brentford Football Club
As we are Supported by Brentford FC this gives us a great pathway into Academy football as we know what standards need to be met for our players to progress into Academy set ups, Although we are not a team within our programme we will provide our players the chance to showcase their abilities against Development and Academy set ups throughout the season to give them the greatest opportunity we can.
Core Sports Progression
Not only do we look at making better footballers but we aim to unite players from different areas, teams and backgrounds and provide them a pathway in which they development not only their technical, physical, tactical areas but also their mental/social Skills to ensure that once they have completed our pathway they are not leaving just outstanding footballers but also with a wide range of social skills needed in life to help them develop into a positive young person.
